Would it be alright with you
If my world revolved around yours?
If my one desire on earth
was to please you in every way, shape, or form
Would it be alright with you?
If I asked you to
mend my broken heart with your love
would you be willing to?
Or would that be asking too much?
If I wanted to hold your hand
and asked you to never leave
would that be selfish of me
or would you understand?
Would you feel the same?
I guess what I am saying is
I know I ask a lot
But all I really ask
is that you give us all you've got
Love me unconditionally
Can you do that for me?
Would you and could you be that man I need?
To shelter me from harm
and satisfy my every need?
