I have awakened once more
From a sweet slumber daze
As the Summer haze lifts
& the Sun gifts me with its presence
I am left in....awe
I could have slept in, but nah
Id rather see the Light
as it first breaks the sky
on the edge of the horizon
The sun rises in my eyes and....
makes me smile.
