A Prayer for Guidance

Jesus, shine a light on every aspect of myself that is not pleasing to you. Any part of my heart that fights against the desire to do Your will, promptly remove it Lord before it causes me to stumble. Let any snares placed before me on the path on which I walk become as glass that shatters beneath my feet. Govern my steps, remind me to walk in the authority of Your name. Shape my words to be as beautiful as your lovingkindness. Cause my ego to crumble at your feet, humbling my soul. Be at my every side when the enemy comes to attack with his lies, recall to my mind Your promises. Continue the renewing of my mind, heart, and soul, so that I may become more like you. In Jesus Might name I pray, Amen.
