So many distractions
Less observance and more reactions
Made with a fraction of thought
Perpetuating actions of a negative response
Rather than to talk
We just argue
About what he knew and about what you knew
When no one really has a clue
They only spew what they've been told
Regurgitated information spoken so bold
But what of the Soul?
What does yours know?
Do you have the intuition to not only listen
But speak up against tradition when it's wrong
To hold on firmly to your convictions when they are strong?
Or do you just follow along with the crowd ?
Blend in because those who stand out
Get cast down, and you like how
everyone likes you
Yeah that's right you....
You put your Ego before your Spirit
That is the reason you cant hear It.
The still small voice that whispers wisdom in the wind
You have to be like that of a child within
Admit to knowing nothing so you can begin to learn
Not what you've been taught since birth
But that was first
spoken over you before you came to earth....
