UNSTOPPABLE ME

I am my biggest obstacle
No one can overcome that obstacle for me
I have to hurdle it
Run faster than it
Be Stronger than it
Then prove to myself that I have more in me
Than I thought to be Possible
And from that moment on....
I'll have become
UNSTOPPABLE!

IT FEELS GOOD

Somewhere along the way 

I had forgotten me 

In the equation of you and I 

I; went missing 

and all I was left with 

was you.... 

Slowly but surely the girl I knew 

is coming back to me 

She's living happily 

Smiling unabashedly 

without a care in the world 

I didn't know if I'd ever see that little girl I lost in you again 

Yet here I am 

More beautiful now than I've ever been 

A woman.... 

who pauses to smell the flowers

Focused on Today 
As I breathe Life in 

I smile and say it feels good to be me again

What I Say....And What I Do

Like the Fool I used to be 

Insecurities may still haunt me 

every now and again...

But I refuse to be your puppet 

waiting around on your string

I am strong enough now to know

when its time to go....

and that time is now....

I am the type of girl 

who would give her man the world 

and then some

But you took me forgranted

For we are connected our roots

Crazy is this thing called Love

Sometimes I wonder

Just what is under that shell 

She hides the hurt so well 

She's been through hell and back 

though her confidence lacks 

she doesn't act like it

She smiles and has a likeness

to someone who is happy

Yet inside her heart is crashing 

Like the waves that hit the shore 

Obscure in her ways 

Strange....

and Yet beautiful

If only she could see what I do

When she looks in the mirror

As I draw nearer to her 

I begin to see 

What appears to be

My reflection 

I step back for a second 

and remember I may not be perfect 

But of these three things... 

Love, Respect, and Trust 

I am worth them.

There are those whom touch your heart to the core you know. 

And you just cant let go of that. 

Not after you've known 

what it feels to truly be Loved. 

Its no longer in your control. 

They hold a piece of your Soul 

that you will never get back. 

Simply put.... when Love like that 

shows itself to you, 

You are changed Forever.

Bank on Love....It Lasts Forever

I do not know

to where now, 

our story may go

Or what you have decided

But may you always be reminded

of the time when

We too were in Love

and very much inseparable

Of that memory I pray

you will never let go

Time itself may go on without an "us"

I gaze into the Horizon
Far past where the sky ends
The Sun settles into the water
and Night descends

I ELEVATE MY MIND

I LET MY SOUL GRAVITATE

TOWARD NEW HEIGHTS

TO FIND 

WHAT I CANT DOWN HERE

MY THOUGHTS CLEAR

I LISTEN TO THE EARTH,

THE MOON, THE SUN, THE SKY

NOT ONLY BY EAR

BUT THROUGH THE HEART

AND I START

TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THIS PLACE

THE SOUND OF THE WAVES

SUCH A POWERFUL DISPLAY OF RESTRAINT

THE OTHER NOISE BECOMES FAINT

UNTIL IT DISSIPATES ENTIRELY

AND INSIDE OF ME...

I AM LEFT WITH PEACE

AND SERENITY

A SENSE OF CALM OVERWHELMS ME

AND I AM REMINDED OF WHERE I STAND

THAT I TOO AM AN INTRICATE PIECE

IN THIS QUILT WEAVED BY GODS HANDS.

She is not Perfect....
nor does she claim to be
At times
She is her own worst enemy
But Beautiful is she
whom can see all her flaws
and still be in awe
when she looks in the mirror
The definition of Beauty becomes clearer
as she ages...
Her wisdom expands
and she now understands
Though Beauty itself may fade
It is then swiftly replaced by Grace.

He's so elusive

Slightly inclusive

But I like that

In fact it keeps me chasing

But its a race I'm happy to stay in

At the chance to lay in

those arms of his

What could be better than this

mysterious man

But he's got a plan

he's "on his way"

So I'll stay in my place

until he needs me

and I will always be

I cant walk away

and he knows it

makes me feel the way he does

Whats it gonna take for us to be

tell me that you cant see what I see

when I look in your eyes

No point in denying 

What was written in our destiny

Our history goes back much further than this life

I loved you in ancient times

Its the reason why 

we cant fully give our heart to any other

Literally, we were created specifically for one another

The moment we locked eyes

and so I respect it

Though its hard

to love someone with all your heart

and not show them

Not be able to hold them
