Feed The Heart with Good
When the heart is void of Love, it will find something to take its place. Anger. Rage. Arrogance. Pride. All of which consume the heart in the end. This means; if you don't continually feed the heart with the Good, it will inevitably succumb to the bad. Katt: "Some of us are against the illuminati and we are against the Illuminati at our own detriment. When people are against the illuminati then they get punched in the face all the time, the press hates them, and nobody likes them".... "It's not necessary for people like us (he and Dave Chapelle) to stir up the hornets nest unless we intend to get stung a million times; I didn't understand that at the time, and they had to sting me a million times. I'm still not gonna join, but I respect it a little bit more."
Interviewer: "Now, how do you handle that because they put your name in the press with a lot of rumors, and a lot of situations that they try to put on Katt Williams? Do you ever feel the need to defend yourself, put out a story about who I am or do you just let that sorta roll off your back?"
Katt: "....I don't really know how to complain because everybody that I ever looked up to had to go through it too. So I know how much they talked about Martin Luther King and I know what they end up doing to them. And I know this same story about Jesus and a few of my uncles. So I know that if your mouth is really really big, and you try to tell the Truth for a living and you like to air people out, hatred is coming your way. I didn't know it was gonna be this type of hatred but you know, I'm concrete in all things because of He who strengthens me. Now, that doesn't mean, I always make the right decisions but I am gonna stand by what I stand for and I'm only continuing to do it because I was looking for somebody who was doing it instead of me and I just must have missed him. At some point you have to figure out what example are you're trying to be, if it's just gonna be you're gonna make it and live happily ever after and go off into the sunset, then that's what that is. Otherwise you're on the front lines of this battle and those of us who understand that also understand that this (scrutiny) is a part of what comes with it."
Just thought I'd share that piece from an interview Katt did with everyone so that instead of making fun of him, you could pray for him and recognize that he is doing what he can with what 'they' will allow him to do. Should he have lashed out in this situation or any past situation where he has, letting anger get the better of him? No. But I cannot imagine how hard it must be to have your name run through the mud so much so that every person you meet for the most part treats you disrespectfully, tries to start a fight, treats you like you're a washed up joke, and provokes you until you're just so frustrated that you act out. I'm not saying he's perfect, nor excusing his behavior, but just stop making fun of him, and try showing a bit of compassion instead.

Sweet Dreams
Mommy,
I had a dream about you last night

A Simple Conversation
How are you?
It's amazing what that sentence can do to open the door to some one's heart when asked genuinely with the desire for an honest answer. You'd be surprised at how many people come to Jesus simply because you showed them who Jesus is by caring for them and loving them the way no one else seemed to before. Talk to one another, even if they aren't Christian and their sentences are littered with curse words. Keep listening, and give them words of encouragement and even share a scripture (without quoting which verse it is) that way it just seems like conversation, but in all actuality, you're sowing Holy Spirit seeds into them without them knowing it. All sneaky like. But you get what I mean, people who don't know Jesus aren't going to open up to someone standoffish, nor will they see who Jesus is in you if you don't reflect His same kindness and openness to all people, not only the saved. Don't get comfortable being Christian, test your faith and reach out to someone who does all the things you know are wrong. Because they are the ones who need to be reached for Jesus. People don't have to be perfect before they come to God, they come to God and He does the perfecting. All we have to do is be the Light, the unsaved will know there is something different about you and eventually they will want to know more about why, let the topic of Jesus come up naturally. Don't force it. Share a simple conversation with someone today that you normally wouldn't. They probably need it the most.

It's Not Too Late.... Yet
It's really no wonder to me as to why our nation, or rather the entire world for that matter, is in utter disarray, and only getting worse. For the most part: the media has replaced God, people don't learn from the Word, they learn from their television & computer screens. They don't worship Jesus, they worship Beyoncé, among many other satanic idols. People are too self absorbed to be concerned with God's will for their lives, "But what about what I want?!" they say; consumed by greed and driven by the desire to get get get, and get more. "More, I need more..." More money, more things, more stuff so that everyone will look at me and say "Wow, you've made it, you are really somebody now."
People look at some of the worst perversion these days and call it 'artistic'. They are more concerned with the lives of celebrities than they are with the lives of those closest to them. Instead of discussing topics that appeal to the soul, and awaken the conscious mind, they would rather converse about mundane gossip and whatever "breaking news" the 'one world' media decides is prevalent at the time to report on. So long as those stories, they report, continue fueling the fire of prejudicial tensions and feeding the ego of man as well as pushing the agenda of this corrupt government we reside under.
We live in a world where status matters more than moral integrity. Where there are billionaires and yet somehow one third of the population is desolate and starving to death. Where our Health care system cares more about making money than they do about Health, where doctors are drug peddlers in the largest drug organization of all time run by the heart of said money making machine, Big Pharma. Is it any wonder some of us can't wake up? Numbed by the drugs, numbed by the alcohol, numbed by the plethora of non stop, useless, unnecessary information flooding our minds, blocking us from the social stimulation we crave deep down, depriving us of real life experiences that could develop our moral character, and distracting us of from the enlightened wisdom God has been trying to seep into our dry bones and cold hearts since the beginning of time.
But who cares, right? The people just want to be entertained, okay, well entertain this; Jesus IS coming soon. He is not slack concerning that promise. Y'all look at the "time" it's taking and don't even recognize time's infinitesimal relevance where God is concerned. Time may as well not even exist apart from somewhat providing order among what would otherwise seem like chaos to man. We are talking about The God who hung the universe on Nothing and breathed life into Everything. YOUR creator! He formed you meticulously and miraculously to be much more than what you are right now! His knowledge is more valuable than anything money could ever buy. His wisdom, worth more than silver & gold. And I don't care what you've done up until this point right now, you can come back to Him! We can all come back to God. This nation, this world.... we can know redemption. It's not too late! But we need more soldiers for the cause. In order to get these soldiers, we need more of you to recognize who you are in Christ, and accept Him, so that he can transform you from the inside out, replacing your selfish humanity with divine humility, thereby allowing you to drastically change this world for the better; to shape it into something beautiful, instead of just letting it rot in the hands of greedy corporations who make millions of dollars telling you who they 'think' you're supposed to be. Don't buy into the lies anymore. Aren't we all tired of the deception already!? I for one, truly am. It all starts with one. Individuals, one at a time, making a decision to break the cycle of bad behavior and self indulgence and come back to the heart of Love. Where we gave more than we took. Shared more than we held back. And loved more than we hated. Can we get back to that my brothers and sisters? Can we get back to Love... for God, and for others?

The Sword of Truth is Heavy
I won't ever just post sweet words on here. I will tell you the Truth no matter how hard it is to hear. I will do my best to encourage you but also correct you and I sincerely pray that if I am ever out of line with my faith that you as well, will correct me and not just sugarcoat things.
Sweet words, though they can be pleasing to the Flesh are not always beneficial to the Spirit.
And my intention is to benefit your spirit. Help awaken something in you that may have kept you away from God. Shine a light on what has been hidden in the dark. Why? Because it is what God asks of me, as well as all of us. We are to be iron sharpening iron to our Christian brothers and sisters and to the unsaved who know nothing of God, we are to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Also, we are to Love.
And not generic stereotypical love that supports anything and everything anyone does no matter how wrong it is. No, I'm talking about the other kind of Love.... Real Love that convicts, and corrects. Unconditional Love that doesn't hold against you your sins but also doesn't support them either. Love means being honest, despite how unpopular or politically incorrect it may be. It's caring less about people liking you and more about people loving God. It's a willingness to say what needs to be said rather than to say what you think people want to hear.
It's like this, as Christians, God says we are either hot or cold, but He will spew out the lukewarm. (Revelations 3:16)
Being a Christian isn't an easy undertaking nor does it make you the most loved person in the world. Unless of course.... you only ever say sweet words and never discuss the heavy issues facing the world, you're quite loved when you only do that. But when you speak up and out for God and stand against what He is firmly against and stay true to what His word says, (The Word that came before the world) when you start talking about that; there will be some push back. But that's alright. I'll keep pushing, because I'm not here to make friends, I'm here on this earth to fight for Jesus, (now that I personally know Him), in order to get people back on the path of righteousness. The devil is fighting awfully hard these last days to keep them on the path to hell, so the least I can do is deal with how heavy it can sometimes be to carry this sword of Truth and give it every ounce of spiritual strength I have to keep on swinging it.
If Jesus can die for me, I can definitely stand for Him. I don't think that's asking too much.

Wounds of a friend.
True friends will tell you when you're wrong even when it risks the friendship, fake friends will join you in being wrong, encourage you to keep going, and even celebrate your wrongdoings.
One reason: Misery loves company.
No one wants to do bad all by themselves. The more people they get to do bad with them or rather the more people they get to support them in doing bad, the less it feels wrong, and the easier it is to continue on the wrong path.
I'd take friends who "judge me" and try and keep me on the right path any day over those who tickle my ears and let me walk aimlessly down the wrong path. I made a decision when I gave my life over to Christ, that I don't want to live my life for myself. I want to live for God and that means being accountable for my actions. Representing Christ to the best of my ability. And when I'm weak, I want and fully expect others around me to keep me accountable. True Friends, who won't let me just keep falling. I expect those who genuinely love me to tell me I am wrong, when I'm wrong. True friends keep you out of the devil's snares. If you have them in your life, be thankful for them. I know I am thankful for all of you who've ever called me out on my son or what some may call: "judged me", and got me back on solid righteous ground! Thank you for caring more about the sanctity of my soul than our friendship.

A Little Peter in us all.
"God understands us better than we do ourselves. He knows why we struggle and what causes us to slip up. Remember Peter on the water.... "Ye of little faith...." Peter took His eyes off Jesus because for one second he didn't trust Jesus. And he fell into the waters. But Jesus didn't leave him there though, He extended His hand and pulled him out of the ocean and saved him. I think we all have a little Peter in us all. Just so long as we never stop loving Him and never stop trying to grow in relationship with Him. That is what matters most to Him, I believe. Having your heart."

What If....
"Doing the same thing over and over & expecting a different result." That is the definition of Insanity.
A lot of people say they want to change their lives but very few actually take the steps necessary to change it. Why is that? Well, fear for one, fear of the unknown and fearing the "what ifs" but what if.... you actually succeed? What if you tried something new, and it truly changed your life for the better? If what you've been trying all along hasn't gotten you what you want or even need, why not change your way of thinking and acting so that your life can actually change? If we took the things we all 'talk about doing' to heart and actually applied them to our lives, what more could we have accomplished by now.
Just think about it.
Stop saying "someday I'm going to..." and start doing it today. I have, and there's no way I'm turning back! - Bri

OH, HOW THEY THIRST SO
I see such sadness in the eyes of so many.....
Seeking something that will quench their thirst
Remove their hurts permanently
Not just temporarily and apparently they think
they'll find that in a drink
Or in a pill, or some other thrill
And yet still..... they thirst and hunger
I wonder.... have they never pondered the questions
"If I have tried everything on earth and still I am restless....
If I've tried so many things and all I am left with
is more pain.....
How can I maintain that what I thirst for can be quenched by the things of this earth?"
It can't and what's worse
Is that since the birth of mankind
This lie.....
The world's oldest
has been told with such consistency
"If you just take a bite of this, then you'll see"
You'll get what your soul is seeking
And that lie is still deceiving to this very day
If they only knew The Way....
That the Truth and Life they seek awaits
in the arms of Jesus.

"Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich;
restrain yourself!
Riches disappear in the blink of an eye;
wealth sprouts wings
and flies off into the wild blue yonder."

Question: What is wealth?
Answer: Honoring God.
Pray: Heavenly Father, Help me to be a Wise steward of all the money and possessions You've entrusted me with.
Each time you pull out your wallet to make a purchase, ask these two questions:
Will this purchase be a wise one?
Will it Honor God?
"Riches fade fast. Wealth is everlasting. Blessed are those who know the difference. Be wise with all that God has given you. I am learning this lesson all too painfully. I can't recall a time when I've been wise with my provisions, but that stops today. I've prayed the prayer above and from now on, I will ask these two questions before making a purchase. God wants us to enjoy the fruits of our labor and lived blessed lives but He wants us to do so wisely, and honor Him, so that we aren't left with nothing but the shirt on our backs (See Proverbs 22:26-27). He wants us to make wise choices where our finances are concerned.
Give to man what is his, and Give to God what is His. (Mark 12:17)
Give to man what is his:
This means pay your bills on time, don't run up debt you know you can't pay off to buy things you know you don't absolutely need. Don't bet your life savings on a whim.
Give to God what is His:
This means honor Him with what He has blessed you with. Invest back into Him, and His Kingdom, meaning WISELY put your money into things that are pleasing to God; into the things that will give Him glory.
God is not concerned about how much you spend or that you give an exact amount or percentage, He cares about the heart behind it. Why are you choosing to make this purchase? Are your motives self centered or pure?
Like the widow who gave two pennies:
"Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed money in for the collection. Many of the rich were making large contributions. One poor widow came up and put in two small coins—a measly two cents. Jesus called his disciples over and said, “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn’t afford—she gave her all." - Mark 12:41-44 MSG
She bet her all on God's faithfulness to provide. She made a WISE investment. She knew what wealth truly was.....

Pray: Heavenly Father, Help me to be a Wise steward of all the money and possessions You've entrusted me with.
Each time you pull out your wallet to make a purchase, ask these two questions:
Will this purchase be a wise one?
Will it Honor God?
"Riches fade fast. Wealth is everlasting. Blessed are those who know the difference. Be wise with all that God has given you. I am learning this lesson all too painfully. I can't recall a time when I've been wise with my provisions, but that stops today. I've prayed the prayer above and from now on, I will ask these two questions before making a purchase. God wants us to enjoy the fruits of our labor and lived blessed lives but He wants us to do so wisely, and honor Him, so that we aren't left with nothing but the shirt on our backs (See Proverbs 22:26-27). He wants us to make wise choices where our finances are concerned.
Give to man what is his, and Give to God what is His. (Mark 12:17)
Give to man what is his:
This means pay your bills on time, don't run up debt you know you can't pay off to buy things you know you don't absolutely need. Don't bet your life savings on a whim.
Give to God what is His:
This means honor Him with what He has blessed you with. Invest back into Him, and His Kingdom, meaning WISELY put your money into things that are pleasing to God; into the things that will give Him glory.
God is not concerned about how much you spend or that you give an exact amount or percentage, He cares about the heart behind it. Why are you choosing to make this purchase? Are your motives self centered or pure?
Like the widow who gave two pennies:
"Sitting across from the offering box, he was observing how the crowd tossed money in for the collection. Many of the rich were making large contributions. One poor widow came up and put in two small coins—a measly two cents. Jesus called his disciples over and said, “The truth is that this poor widow gave more to the collection than all the others put together. All the others gave what they’ll never miss; she gave extravagantly what she couldn’t afford—she gave her all." - Mark 12:41-44 MSG
She bet her all on God's faithfulness to provide. She made a WISE investment. She knew what wealth truly was.....

I AM A CHRISTIAN
I am not Jehovah's Witness.
I am not Mormon.
I am not Catholic.
I am not any other variation of 'professed Christianity' that follows false doctrine of any kind.
I AM A CHRISTIAN.
I worship Jesus Christ as my GOD. There are no separate books from which I seek God, only The Holy Scriptures. I will not debate nor argue that Jesus Christ is anyone other than GOD. The facts are in His Word, seek and you will find that confirmation.
"For in him the whole fullness of DEITY dwells bodily," - Colossians 2:9 ESV
"I and the Father are ONE." - Jesus
(John 10:30)
It doesn't get anymore clear than that. You don't have to take my word for these things, Go and Seek for yourself, it's all in His word, and you don't have to try and convince me that Jesus Christ is not fully God because I will not be convinced of anything that does not line up with the True Word of God. I believe in the Godhead Three in One.
I am only on this topic so much today because I am honestly tired of seeing so many people misled and deceived by cults. We are in the end times, Jesus is coming back at ANY moment like a thief in the night and there are still so many people asleep, aimlessly walking through life, "playing religion" as if it's a game. This is serious business, this is the fate of your soul, there are ETERNAL consequences to your actions. We gotta stop blindly following false doctrines, worshipping false gods, believing is fake prophets. I don't normally write about the gloom and doom of Revelations but MY GOD, WE ARE IN THE BOOK OF REVELATIONS RIGHT NOW AND WE NEED TO WAKE UP. When Jesus comes this time, He isn't going to be a lamb, He's going to be a LION! And HE IS going to judge you. He is going to cast satan back into the lake of fire and He is going to send people who have denied Him(Jesus), right along with satan. What's more important to you? Being too prideful to admit that you have been deceived and so you continue to walk in the dark because what? "Ignorance is bliss", and then you end up in Hell at the end of your life for all eternity because you just didn't feel like hearing that you were wrong? Or would you rather continually seek after Him with all of your heart, soul, and mind until He reveals Himself to you and remain open to the Truth of who God is?
I know Him to be Jesus. That is what His word revealed to me. Not a Pastor. Not a "false prophet". Not "a feel good sermon". No. I know it to be the Truth because His word is True. Forgive me if I sound harsh, but God, when He returns, isn't going to be gentle. He is gonna take some names. And if you want to say that I am judging, that is fine also, I'll take the hit, if I am, Father forgive me, for I am doing this because I love people and I want them to know Jesus, God in Heaven. I love you all enough to tell you the Truth. I'd rather be honest with you and help get you to Heaven and your eternal salvation than to lie to you and help you get to hell and your eternal damnation. I just cannot be that person who loves you straight to hell. So I will accept the 'unfollows', the criticism, and or judgment that comes my way for these posts but the people need to know there is only ONE GOD and His name is JESUS.

Our Destiny is Written by God
God determines our destiny. The choices we make only determine our present state along the way. Our destiny has already been written by God, before we were ever even born. Our choices can only delay the destiny, not determine it. So the purpose of living for me, is figuring out what it is. It makes the story no less interesting knowing that it's already been written. I still have free will of course, and so I can make choices that delay me in getting there or I can make choices that get me there faster. But either way, I am still going in God's intended direction.

Conquering Self Doubt
We are only limited by our own thinking. Often times, we let self doubt make us hesitant to even try another day. But if you just put one foot in front of the other and take small steps towards your goal, you will get where you need to be. The journey may take longer than expected but the point is, you're on your way! So just keep walking.... keep telling yourself that you CAN, that it's POSSIBLE. You are capable of much more than you even know!

Fear of Failure Quote
Don't let fear of failure prevent you from trying. If you never try, you've already failed.
Walk in Love.
STAY IN A PLACE OF LOVE.
No matter what the situation is, when you approach it from a place of Love, that becomes your objective. That objective then helps you to combat the negative things that come against you in a manner that is proactive rather than counteroffensive. Instead of responding to things in retaliation, you've now created an environment of Love and now have control of the direction in which the situation goes.
It's like this; Even the darkest of nights still can't tell the sun not to rise.
When you walk in Love, You're the Sun. You're the Light. You're the solution, before there is ever even a problem.

Natural Hair
Natural Hair....
It's been a process to love you
All these magazines and TV screens have taught me not to
They said Beauty is hair that's long and straight
So I'd break your precious ends with heat
In a sad attempt to deplete every curl
with the hopes that I would fit in
That maybe then the world
would call me beautiful too
For what I put you through, I apologize.
I let the lies take root and disguise the truth....
The truth that you.... are stunning.
And now I'm loving
the way you adorn my face like a Lion's mane
I embrace that it cannot be tamed
and now the bigger it gets, so does the smile on my face
When I look in the mirror now I say....
"Hey there lovely, today is your day!"
It's been a process to love you

You Can't Rush Relationships
Relationships are kind of like flowers....
You have to sort of sit back, water them a little and hope that something grows. It's takes extreme patience to not over water in the hopes that that will make something grow faster, when in fact, that can kill it before its even has a chance to grow. One can become antsy, because we know how Beautiful it can be once something does bloom. But even though we know the Blossoming stage will be so lovely, we can't skip through the budding stage. It's crucial. Let things flourish as they are meant to, and if nothing sprouts right away, if you really want that flower, continue to care for it, watering it when necessary but cautious not to drown it, and hope for the best. But also be prepared that the seed you've planted may very well not grow at all. You may have to choose a different flower for your garden. Either way, be at peace with what God gives you. Be happy and content with the process, however it unravels.

A Prayer for Guidance
Jesus, shine a light on every aspect of myself that is not pleasing to you. Any part of my heart that fights against the desire to do Your will, promptly remove it Lord before it causes me to stumble. Let any snares placed before me on the path on which I walk become as glass that shatters beneath my feet. Govern my steps, remind me to walk in the authority of Your name. Shape my words to be as beautiful as your lovingkindness. Cause my ego to crumble at your feet, humbling my soul. Be at my every side when the enemy comes to attack with his lies, recall to my mind Your promises. Continue the renewing of my mind, heart, and soul, so that I may become more like you. In Jesus Might name I pray, Amen.
