I'd like to add that this person just apologized in Inbox. See.... that is the power of God's love to convict our hearts. He works on each of us, and He will continue a work He has started in us! He promises that in Philippians 1:6! And He is faithful to His promises! Not slack concerning them (2 Peter 3:9) HE IS FAITHFUL I SAY!! God is beautiful and His Love is Grand enough for us all, we all fall short and yet He is still faithful to forgive, to show mercy, then to correct and give guidance.
God fulfilling His word is not contingent on our belief, and that is the greatest display of His power. It is not and cannot be limited by us!!! It's SO AMAZING!

Be Love.
I told someone "My page is not for you. Go and be blessed." after much ridicule on how lengthy my post was about there being "only one judge". This person who claimed to be a Christian then responded to my comment by describing me as, "an evil, witch, rude, attention seeking, weird, bag lady who writes dry and boring rants, is a whore and a devil worshipping mess".....
The Word says: "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks."
So what is in this individuals', heart?
The word also says: "By their fruit you will recognize them (my sheep). Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?"
So what fruit does this person's spirit bare?
Are they baring "....Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness?...." (Galatians 5:22)
I wanted to share this with everyone to just help us all to remember to be mindful of our tongues. Please; when you read a post, even a lengthy one, just think for a moment before quickly commenting whatever comes to your mind. First Stop.... pray about it, and if what you wanted to comment originally is not something rooted in the fruits of God, or meant to build up God's people, then I ask you kindly but firmly that you not say it. There is no need to darken an already dark world. Let us be salt and LIGHT. There is either the presence of God in what you are saying/ doing to others, or there is the presence of satan.
I am not hurt by this person's actions, so much as I hurt for them. I respond not in anger but with compassion. Because I know that they do not have the Agape Love of the Father in their hearts, nor does their life reflect that of the Spirit. This person is lacking, void of God's presence; and that is a truly sad state to be in. It's a very lonely place to be in. So I pray for them. I bless them with nothing but Love. I don't know what they are battling inside or what demons they are fighting but it is a spiritual war out here and I know it's not against me, but Christ in me (John 15), and same with all of us who face this adversity from those we try to reach for Jesus. Just love them. Love your enemies (or rather Christ's enemies) most. They need it more than anyone.
I know that my posts can be long and I understand that for some, they don't like it to be too lengthy, but I have to post what God places on my heart. I cannot shorten it. Every word He wants me to say, I must be obedient and say it. But you are all entitled to your own preference. I would never force myself upon you; and if you would prefer shorter posts all the time, then my page just may not be for you, and that is more than okay. I still love you and bless you. You don't have to follow my page. I would hold no ill will towards you for it, should you decide to leave the page. I would still hope the best for your life and your walk with Jesus.
But please for the sake of those who come here to this page, seeking hope and encouragement and guidance to help them in their walk with God.... THINK, before you speak under my posts. Think; Does this need to be said? Why do I feel this way? And then once you have established an answer for those questions; then go and test my words by all means; test the messages I have written, see if they are true. Don't just take my word for them.
The whole point of this page is I want people to seek Jesus for themselves, and to help people better understand how much God loves us. I hope that from here on out on this page and in life, we can be more respectful to one another and leave opinions out of it, and just focus on Loving God and Loving each other. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading this (also lengthy) post. What can I say? God made me a writer and so I must write. God bless you! I pray that God uses each of you in a special way in your lives and that you come into your purpose in Him and grow exponentially in His spirit, further embracing His love and just flourishing in all that God has to offer and wants to do in and through your lives! I LOVE YOU! GOD LOVES YOU! We all matter to Him. Sinners and Saints the same.
Let us be Salt & Light in this dark world! Xo
Sincerely, Bri

God Bless You.
Word of advice: Saying God bless you after cutting into someone with judgment will not save you from the judgment of God nor will it remove the consequences of your ill mannered character. God does not look kindly on those who vainly use His name, especially when what that person has in their heart upon using His name is not to bless, but rather curse someone. Be careful how you utter the Lord from your mouth. He is listening.

Make the Blind See.
Jesus, please make the blind see.
So many are walking around in such darkness, in need of clarity. So many are blind. And if they are not blind to You and Your Word in its entirety, then they at the minimum, attempting to see You and Your word through a severely filtered lens they have created, and just can't make out what is being said. Lord remove the filters. Remove the layers of deceit that fog their understanding. Open their eyes so that they may see, open their ears so that they may hear. Soften their hearts so that they may be more receptive to You and Your word. I know I cannot make them see. Paul before you gave Him vision, could not see the error of his ways. But you restored him, you MADE him see what he didn't even want to, and I know you can do that for others! So I leave it in Your capable hands Father. Let not the seed I plant in Your name bear no fruit. For it is the seed that You have given me. Let it flourish. Let it take root in the soul of human beings everywhere and blossom into understanding and wisdom. Let it grow into an awe-inspiring, wondrous relationship with You. This is my prayer. In Jesus name. Amen.

Don't Let The Darkness that Persist Be More Persistent than Your Light of Love.
I have always believed that human character cannot be determined by the character of humanity. Meaning, even though humanity from our perspective may seem to be so evil and unkind at times, when we view it from the perspective of one individual at a time that we encounter on a personal basis, day to day, there will appear to be more love and kindness instead. And as we view it that way; we begin to realize that the world isn't all that bad, it's just a few bad people who happen to share a world with the good. We are the Light.... You and I and many others. We cannot let the darkness that persists, be more persistent in spreading hate than we are in spreading love. We have to keep shining. And keep believing that by shining the Light, being the example, and sowing the seed, that it will somehow bare fruit in the end, despite all the odds that come against it.
The Law of Christ
There is One Judge over all things and everyone. His name is Jesus. Please stop trying to do His job for Him.
There is no possible way that you can transform me better than Jesus has, can, and will continue to. There is no possible way that you can teach me better than the Holy Spirit has, can, and will continue to. And There is no one but the Father that I will have to answer to at the gates of Heaven for how I lived my life.
I live my life for Him, to the best of my ability. I rely solely on the Holy Spirit to teach me, convict me, and correct me. I do not need man's intervention in those areas. God has it covered. I live under grace, cleansed by the Blood of Jesus. I do not and WILL NOT minimize what He did on the Cross for my sins. For those I have done in the past and those I am sure I will do in the future because I cannot.... I repeat, CANNOT, by my own efforts, earn my way to Heaven by keeping to The Law of the Old Testament to a T. Jesus KNOWS that I cannot, nor can ANYONE, at all. If they tell you otherwise, consider them in good company with the enemy and to be hypocrites, because there is no one, not ONE on earth who can measure up to God's Glory. We ALL fall short.
When I am convicted of something (By the Holy Spirit) and shown clearly that it is a sin, I then apply that wisdom, and do my best to not engage in those acts, and walk fervently in the Spirit, BUT understand this: I do not focus so hard on trying not to sin, so much so, that I lose focus on relying on His grace and mercy to cover me when I fall. See..... I will not exhaust myself, not ever again, at idolizing sin by giving it all of my attention rather than Jesus being at the forefront of my mind. Nor will I jump through religious hoops to put on a show for the Christians who pretend to have it all together.
My God knows every single piece of me that is still in need of mending. He knows every area in which I am in need of correction. He knows exactly why I struggle, when I do, and the reason behind why I struggle. At no point in time is He ever taken by surprise when I slip and sin. He sees it coming. He knows every aspect of every single thing I do in my life. And lastly HE KNOWS exactly how to handle me. Jesus is a gentle and perfect teacher. He does not need our help. I repeat.... He does not need our help! Let Him do His job. He is PERFECT at it.
I was reading in the Word this morning in John. And it talked of Jesus healing a lame man on the Sabbath.... (John 5)
(Now, one of the Laws of the Old Testament even today, is that we are to keep the sabbath holy and not do work on this day.)
Now, when The Pharisees saw that Jesus had healed this man, they were furious; and they objected. They said to the man who was healed, “You cannot work on the Sabbath!! The law does not allow you to carry that sleeping mat!!”
The man replied, “But the one who healed me told me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk.’" The Pharisees demanded to know who told this man such a thing, still enraged.
The man couldn't tell them who because Jesus had blended into the crowd by then. Jesus later found the man in the Temple and told him, “Now you are well; sin no more.” Then the man went and told the Pharisees that it was Jesus that healed him and told him to carry his mat. Then The Pharisees began harassing Jesus for breaking the Sabbath rules.
Jesus simply replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
The point I am trying to make by sharing this story (and sorry this post is so long but it needed to be said) is that The Pharisees being so focused on keeping the Law missed entirely that this man needed healing regardless of the day, and Jesus healed him because that's who He is, and also the man did the right thing despite what the Law said because he was under the perfect guidance of Jesus Christ.
This man encountered Jesus. Jesus ignored the Law and healed him. The man ignored the Law and followed the orders of Christ. The Pharisees were puzzled as to why?
This is why.
Jesus came to be the Covenant between God & His children. He knew we needed a way to come into relationship with the Father. He is The Way. (John 14:6) And when He came to earth and died, The Law was fulfilled in Him.
Jesus gave us two commandments to follow:
1. "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind."
2. "Love your neighbor as yourself."
If you Love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind, will you desire to do His will? Yes.
If you Love your neighbor as you love yourself, will you want to harm them, steal from them, lie to them? No.
By keeping these two commandments alone, we keep the Law of Jesus Christ, and The Law of Jesus Christ, fulfills the Law of the Father.
So when I get a tattoo for example, does it have any effect on me loving the Lord with all my heart, soul & mind? No. I ADORE HIM with all that I am.
Does it have any effect on me loving others as I love myself? No. I love my brothers and sisters in Christ, and would not want to hurt them or make them feel unloved in any manner, because I don't want to be hurt or made to feel unloved.
So am I keeping the Law? Absolutely.
I LIVE IN CHRIST JESUS. HE LIVES IN ME. He is my Father, Teacher, Counselor, Rock, Redeemer, and my Rescuer. He has saved my soul from the brink of Death. He has given me the gift of Grace that has allowed me to live a life rooted in Joy. And that is a gift for any who should be willing to receive it.
By saying all of this, am I saying that because we have this freedom of Christ and we are covered by God's grace, we should sin to our hearts content? Not at all.
"Freedom is not the the ability to do what you want. It's the responsibility to do what you ought." - Author Unknown
Keep to the Law of Christ and you will do what you ought to do, just as the man who was healed did. If you should fall and struggle, confess to your Abba for forgiveness, and move on. Don't linger in the sin that has already been washed clean by The Blood of Jesus nor waste a minute of your time being consumed by perfecting your ability to not sin.
In conclusion: Jesus said “My Father is always working, and so am I.”
He is constantly working on us and in us to transform us. His job is never done. And there is no one better suited for this job. So please, please stop repeating the same Leviticus verse about my tattoos, and telling me my body is a temple or attempting to correct me in any area you assume I am wrong in. God has got ALL areas covered. Let Him teach me as He sees fit. Let me do His will in peace. Go and seek for yourself and pray to Him that the Holy Spirit will reveal the Truth of His word to you. As for me, I have complete peace within my soul from Jesus. I do not need to justify that to you, nor can it be disputed, so please stop trying. He will correct me as He sees fit because He knows me like He knows the stars in the sky. He called me by name out of the depths of sorrow to let me know simply that I am loved, and all I am trying to do here through this ministry, is bestow that same love to others so that they too may experience this beloved adoration from a wonderful Father. We are all precious to Him and worthy of His love, we were made worthy simply by being born. We don't have to earn that. There is absolutely nothing you did or can do that can separate you from His Love. I pray you receive Him into your heart, come into relationship with the Holy Spirit and keep to The Law of Christ. Let us not make it more complicated than it has to be. Be blessed now.

Covered by Your Suffering
Her acts of adultery
in the thorns of Your crown
Her idol worship
in the sweat of Your brow
My God, how You suffered
simply that she may be covered in Grace
As the blood poured down Your face
She was forgiven
For the sins she committed
and those she's yet to commit
She submits to Your glory
Though her story is filled with plot twists
Your love persists to be the part of it
that doesn't change
Her Rock. You remain the same
despite everything she faces
You are the basis of her soul
In you she is made whole.

prayer for focus
Lord....
Help me to not get so caught up (in my flesh) concerned with the opinions of others, that I lose sight of Your glory. Help me to filter out the distracting noise of the naysayers, whose only objective is that of satan, to steal, kill and destroy. Which is nothing new. I, myself am still healing Lord, you see what others can't, and all I desire is to create an open and honest place of healing for God's people. I just want to do Your will. If this ministry be Your will then let it be done. If You are teaching me something in the trials I will face along the way.... then may it be. But please just give me the focus, discipline, patience, passion, and compassion it takes to be a soldier in this daily battle of the enemy coming against me and allow me the grace to deal with those whose intentions are ill in a more patient and gentle manner, as you yourself did while on earth Jesus. Soften my heart as if it were putty in Your Hands. Shape my soul to better reflect everything that You are. You are so beautiful and loving. I want to have a heart like yours, to have eyes that see, and ears that hear. TEACH ME all that I can learn in one lifetime on earth. I am YOURS. Help me to walk fervently by the blessed Spirit and not by this cursed flesh. Sigh.....
I am struggling tonight with these obstacles, but I KNOW You are faithful to move mountains, so a few grievances vocalized by 'empty wagons' are a piece of cake for You. I just need You right now though Jesus to still my soul.... I need Your presence in abundance and for You to speak with me in the stillness, and give me a clear answer as to whether or not this is indeed Your will for my life and not my own ego's desires. For if it is the latter, then let it die before it even has life. In Jesus mighty name, I humbly pray, AMEN.

Love Descended
Love descended into profound sin
Not to condemn but to put an end to death
So let everything that has breath
Praise The Lord
For a Savior is born
This Christmas Day.

Prayer for the Religious and Non Believer
Lord help those who are in their own way. Help them to better understand Your Word. It is such a blessing and so freeing when you genuinely speak to us, and when we come into deep relationship and agreement with the Holy Spirit. When You move in us, convicting our flesh and renewing our minds. I pray that EVERYONE of Your children experience that same Peace and Joy while abiding in You as I have and continue to! I am so thankful to You God for just revealing Your Truth to me allowing me to live so freely and abundantly in Your love and Grace. May You bless others with this, same freedom, wherever they are, no matter if it's the non believers who do not know You yet, or the believer who used to but has been led astray by religious idolatry. Just touch them right now in Jesus name. Bless their lives. It must be so hard living in a manner in which they feel they have to earn what You already accomplished on the cross! I pray for them so deeply. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH JESUS! Thank you for teaching me and for giving me tests to strengthen my patience and grow even more in You! You are the Vine, I am the branch. You in Me. I in You.
AMEN!

"Only God can Redeem Souls"
No one but God Himself can redeem souls. All we can do, as followers of Jesus Christ, is sow the seed of the Word of God into the lives of the lost, and then love on them thereby showing them only a glimpse of what God's love is. And with that alone, hope that the transformation of their souls, and the redemption process can begin.
God is the Redeemer. We are to be Salt.
God is the Redeemer. We are to be Salt.
My Prayer for the Grieving.
I believe Grief makes us so much more compassionate. As we experience and endure the pain of loss.... it shapes our heart to better resemble God's heart. If softens us to be more empathetic towards pain by having a better understanding of it ourselves. If we let it, our trial can become our testimony, and can show others exactly what God can do in our lives when we surrender to Him. Pain can become something beautiful.
So if you are experiencing a loss right now, whether recent or past, my heart is with you. Understand that I know.... I truly know because I am thinking of my beloved Mommy in Heaven. You are not alone in your pain. God is with you and my prayers are for you. May God give you the strength to get through the Holidays and not only get through them but in some way, that surpasses our understanding, enjoy them and have joy in them. May His peace overwhelm your heart and come into your soul as such a comfort. May He sit beside you, heal and restore where only He can. And may you know that somehow someway God will work together for your Good and for His glory, every single trial and tribulation you experience. He can and will create something beautiful from it all. I pray blessings over everyone especially those with a broken heart this Christmas and Holiday season.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed." - Psalm 34:18
He is WITH YOU. He has not left your side. He sees your tears and will not forsake you. Not now, not ever.
YOU ARE LOVED AND CARED FOR IMMENSELY.

"The Burden of Resentment"
You cannot fully receive the abundance of what God has to offer you, until you relinquish to Him the burdens of resentment that you hold in your heart toward another. If any of your heart is consumed by anger, then that portion of your heart has been made unavailable to God.
He doesn't want part of your heart beloved, He wants it all.
Forgiveness does not necessarily bless the forgiven, so much as it blesses the Forgiver.
Once we forgive someone, we also take the power of whatever they did to hurt us away. And once that is removed from our hearts, we can come to Christ wholeheartedly and receive restoration and healing from Him. See; what makes it so difficult for us to forgive is: we as human beings, expect a resolution where there sometimes can't be one.
"You don't have to have resolution to have reconciliation." - Pastor Jentzen Franklin
And if I might add to this quote also, you don't have to have reconciliation in order to forgive.
The Word says: "Let not the sun set upon your anger." Jesus also says: "Blessed are the Peacemakers."
Forgiveness brings with it, peace. It does not make light of that which someone has done to hurt us, and by no means does it take the accountability away from that person for their actions.
What Forgiveness does do.... is free our souls from the bondage of resentment.
When we forgive, we no longer have to carry the weight of what has been done to us on our shoulders.
Upon being wronged by someone, have you ever felt this deep heaviness come over you, and you feel burdened by emotions that literally make you sick to your stomach? That is a grudge. And that is toxic to the soul.
"Holding a grudge is like drinking the poison and expecting the other person to die." - Author Unknown
The person who wronged you is going to go on about their day, unaffected by that weight that you carry because of something they've done. In order to have any freedom or peace from that weight, you have to let it go, and give it to God. Whether the person was right or wrong, it is not up to us to punish. Let God worry about that. God is just and faithful in His ways. Nothing goes unseen and so He will deal with each of us accordingly. FORGIVE. Let it go. Whatever you are holding onto, especially this time of year, let it go. Be blessed by the freedom of Forgiveness. Let God life that heavy burden of resentment from your soul and replace it with His peace.

Idolizing Sin
You can't let the subject of sin become the ruler of your life instead of Jesus.
If I am only ever focused on not sinning, because I want so desperately not to displease God, have I not then, made Sin itself an idol?
If I allow myself to be more concerned with whether or not I, by my own efforts, can please God, then have I not lost sight of God Himself?
"Apart from Him, we are capable of nothing, but by being empowered by the Holy Spirit, we're capable of anything." - Christopher Perrin
The Word says: "Yes, I (Jesus) am the vine; you are the branches. Those who abide in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing."
So why do we keep thinking that we can be the Vine? Letting the concern that we might sin, be at the forefront of our thoughts instead of Jesus? Why do we abide in ourselves instead of abiding in Him and in the Love of what He did for us on the Cross?
Stop allowing sin to take the place of Jesus. Refocus your attentions on Him, and you'll begin to sin less not out of obligation, relying on yourself; but because you want to, because you abide in Him.
Let Him abide in your heart and He will transform it. Let Him abide in your mind, and He will renew it. Abide in Him in all things and sin overtime loses its power over you. The temptations become less and less effective. Satan's illusions can't hold a candle to God's Truth. Align yourself with God's Truth and the devil will flee from you.

Okay..... Well I hope I responded to everyone! If I missed anyone, I am genuinely sorry about that! I am going to leave you with this message while I go on my fast!
Don't complicate God's love for you.
It is clear the way He adores us. That is evident in His word and the Promises to us.
"Our performance and what we do has nothing to do with God's faithfulness in our lives." - Christopher Perrin
Basically he's saying that whether we measure up or not, get everything right or not, God's faithfulness to fulfill what He started in us does not change whatsoever. We cannot improve upon what God already fulfilled on the cross.
When God begins a work in us, He is faithful to complete it. He is working on your heart, healing your soul! LET HIM. You can't help Him do that better than He already does! You are His beloved, no matter how scarred up or bruised you are from this life, HE IS POSITIVELY, ABSOLUTELY, MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU!!!!!! Let that truth resound in your soul!
Until I see you again on Christmas Day! BE BLESSED AND THANK YOU!
And Have a VERY Merry Christmas!!!

Love Covers a Multitude of Sins.
God has not forgotten you! Nor would He ever. We can NEVER fall too far from God's grace and mercy. It endures forever. That was His promise to us. We can always come back to Him, no matter how broken, we can come to Him unclean with a multitude of sins attached to us and He will still love us. We are still His children. He still has a plan for us. When we love Jesus, and have the desire to do what is right for God, He can work with that. He wants the willing. Are you still saved if you sin? Absolutely Yes. It says in the Word "Once your name is written in the Book of Life, it is never erased" and it also says "No true believer should ever doubt his eternal security in Christ." Now that does not give cause for us to go around sinning left and right and expecting that it will be of no consequence to God. No. What those verses mean is that we belong to Him eternally. You don't have to doubt whether you are saved or not. We were all sinners when He died for us. So that means He loved us before hand. Before we even tried to do what is right. He is the same God as then, yesterday, today and forever. He loves us right where we are and if we allow Him, He can be our redeemer from whatever sin we struggle with. Do not believe the lies of satan. I just spoke on that not long ago, do not be deceived. He lies. That's all he can do. Manipulate and distort. Those are his specialties. And worry or fear for the future only steals the joys of today. So be anxious for nothing. Jesus has us in the palm of His very capable hands. So don't let the enemy fool you into thinking otherwise. Leave it all at the cross. All of it. Go forward in your walk with Him. Fast, and pray ceaselessly. You ARE born again, you just have to walk in it.
The Power of Amen!
Someone commented on one of my posts, directed towards the other people commenting he said something along the lines of 'say something other than amen people, say something more substantial and meaningful.'
I know this person wasn't trying to be unkind but they are missing the Power in the word Amen. It was how Jesus ended some of the most amazing prayers in the Bible, including the Lord's Prayer.
When we say Amen, it's coming into agreement with everything said prior in our prayers. It activates the prayer itself and allows for it to come to fruition. So I appreciate each Amen, just as much as the last one because I know it holds that power of God in it. I know that by saying it, you are opening the door to receiving God's goodness and blessings into your life.
So keep those Amen's coming! They will never be unsubstantial or meaningless to me. God bless you!!!!
I appreciate you all taking the time to comment and send messages. I am keeping you in prayer for what you've messaged me about. I have not stopped. God is faithful and blesses us according to our faith in Him so keep believing in Him to do the impossible. He is still a God of miracles, and if He will not bring you out of the bad, He will certainly walk through it with you. AMEN!

Misconceptions
Try not to form an opinion of someone based on their outward appearance. For even the devil disguised himself as light. Be not deceived.

Remorse vs. Guilt
Never feel ashamed.
Shame comes from guilt. There is a difference between Guilt and Remorse. The difference between them is: Guilt keeps you in the bondage of condemnation, and Remorse gives you freedom from it. Remorse leads to confession and repentance of sin. And then repentance of sin leads you to forgiveness and God's mercy. And since we know "there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus", we should never allow ourselves to feel ashamed. If we feel ashamed, what did Jesus even die for? It takes away the power of the cross and what He did for us. He doesn't want us to be in the bondage of sin, He whom the Son sets free is free indeed." So walk in that freedom. Our sins do not come as a surprise to God. He already knows where we struggle, it could be a number of things, and there are a number of reasons why. There is always a story behind the particular sins we struggle with most, it could stem from our childhood, it could be unresolved issues from past relationships, broken homes, etc. as I said.... many reasons, too many to list. But here's the thing.... GOD ALREADY KNOWS. He knows us in and out. Now with that said, when we ourselves know that a particular sin, has a much stronger temptation for us, we should do our best to stay away from it. But also take it to God and talk with Him about it to be sure of what you are to do about it; and once we receive the answer in complete clarity, do not deny it. We are to do what He tells us to do. But go easy on yourselves please. God understands your struggle; and why you are who you are. He knows your heart. And with His wisdom, overtime, you can walk in His ways stronger, and with more confidence. As we draw nearer to His spirit, it unlocks the door for transformation of our hearts and allows for the renewal of our minds. Just be open and honest with Him and He can work wonders with that.
BE BLESSED BELOVEDS.

God Has Not Forsaken You
God has not forsaken you. You still mean as much to Him today as you did when He pieced together fearfully and wonderfully, your mind body and soul. You are STILL His child whom He has a purpose for, and He still cares about your heart. He sees every tear you cry. He still walks beside you holding your right hand through whatever struggle you walk through. He has not abandoned you. You are not alone. So please if you are feeling like God has forsaken you, understand that is IMPOSSIBLE. The Love He has for you would not even allow for such a thing. The very hairs on your head are numbered because He cared enough to count them each as precious as the first, and just as those hairs are counted, so are our tears. Not one is wasted but each are sent up to the Heavens as treasures and blessings to be received one day in the place of no pain and suffering. So keep crying out to Him. He is your Father. He hears you and immensely adores you.... Right where you are standing. I don't care what kind of mess you are in or how broken you are. HE ADORES YOU. And there is no thing, NO THING AT ALL that can separate you from that Love. You are His beloved forevermore.
True Riches
Riches, true riches, do not come by way of possessions or money, they come by way of Christ and being complete and fully content in just His love. That brings an ever present, unshakable joy to our hearts when we come into this Truth.
Opinion vs. Truth
Opinion vs. Truth
It can be hard to decipher sometimes whether a message is actually from God or simply an opinion formulated by our circumstances and surroundings. Trying not to let the deception of the news, or things others have told us, or the collective thoughts of society in general, color God's truth and in turn the way we interpret it, can be a bit hard. All the static chatter of man, and white noise of the TV can sometimes drown out the still small voice of God, and so how are we to determine whether something is Opinion vs. Truth?
Discernment.
Discernment comes through relationship with The Holy Spirit. By coming into relationship with Him, we activate that switch within that says whether something truly sits well with the soul and is rooted in Truth, or whether it's just a whole lot of fluff we picked up from the lips of friends or the local news reporter, that is not rooted in Truth but instead fleeting opinion that changes upon circumstance.
Truth never changes and comes as a welcomed companion to our souls.
Truth, unaltered, will always sit well with the soul.
It will fill you with a peace that cannot be explained.
Lies on the other hand, will cause anxiety, worry, confusion, affliction, anger, etc. These are things we know to be the spirit of the enemy.
The Word describes the Spirit of God as one of Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, and gentleness.
So if a message we receive is surely from God, it will come barring the fruit of those things rather than the ones we know to be of the enemy.
Come into relationship with God. Ask Him for discernment.... for the wisdom to know the difference between opinion and Truth, and He will provide you with it. He wants all His children to hear Him clearly and understand His Word fully so that our souls might align with it, and in that alignment, that we might become more like Him.

God's man vs Law man.
Someone asked me this morning about not being a "law man" and being "Gods man". And wanted to know how I have come to this place in my life where I am in a true relationship with God and not living for the Law but for Him. Here was my answer. I hope this blesses others also.

Conviction Comes Through Forgiveness
Instead of telling people why they're going to Hell, why not tell them how to get to Heaven.
Why not come to them in Love, and with the intent to build them up rather than tear them down? We all sin. We all fall short of the Glory of God; so there is no reason to throw stones at one another. Stop with the Slander!
The devil does enough of that on his own. Do not help him.
We are called to lift up all God's children, and teach them about the power of repentance. We all know Hell exists. We know of the repercussions of a life not lived in Christ, and bound in sin. But spreading that knowledge to a non-believer will not keep them from Hell much the less bring them to Christ.
Telling them of Christ's Love, however, and that through repentance we obtain forgiveness, and in turn gain eternal life with a fair and compassionate God. That. That will touch the souls of those who don't know Him.
Instead of picking apart the sinner for their flaws, why not bless them with reminders of who they truly are in Christ? Why not say to them, "You are so Loved. You have so much to offer. You matter."? Why not take them by the hand and just say, "I don't know what you have been through in life that has brought you to where you're standing today, but I care about you, and there is a God who cares also; I just want you to know you're not alone."?
Why not ask them where it hurts? Why not Love on them from a standpoint of compassion rather than condemnation?
In the Word; When Jesus went up to the town adulteress, whom everyone was about to stone for her actions, He spoke to the crowd: "Let any who are blameless cast the first stone." One by one the stones fell from their hands to the ground because they knew and could not refute the truth, that they too were mere sinners. Then after the crowd dissipated; Jesus took the woman by her face, looked into her eyes and said, "I condemn you not, go and sin no more."
He had compassion for the woman. He knew she wasn't fulfilled or happy the way she was living, so He didn't deem it necessary to make her feel worse about herself by pointing out everything she had done wrong. He instead, blessed her with conviction through His forgiveness.
Conviction does not happen through condemnation. Conviction happens through forgiveness.
There is no way you are going to help bring someone out of sin by beating them down. You have to pull them up into the Light of God's goodness. So stop using God's word as a weapon to hurt the already hurting. That is not helping anyone. Instead, use His word to empower and speak life into the hurting souls, that are still just as much God's children as we are as Christians.
There but for the Grace of God....
I, myself, did not come out of the darkness on my own. It was through His grace, which I did not earn. And I came to know of God's grace because of the Light of God I saw in someone. Someone who showed me love and kindness while I was in my brokenness. Someone who lived as an example of Jesus Christ, and that in turn made me want to know more about who exactly Jesus was. And then I started seeking Him for myself.
God's Grace is a gift. Not something you can earn.
God's Word is a blessing, not a weapon.
Know that you can either push someone deeper into the darkness or you can draw them closer to God. If I were you. I'd choose the latter.
Be blessed.
Our true character is revealed in what we do for God's broken.
Life is peachy just sitting in Church, singing a nice song and receiving a good word. And don't get me wrong, that's all wonderful, fellowship with other Christians is awesome.
But what did you do with the Word you received?
Is your Christian walk just a front?
Do you actually put to use God's word? Apply it to your life?
Do your actions reflect that of those who truly know the Lord?
Are you the Lord's servant or not?
The answer to these questions is so important. And so if you don't know your answers, seek them. And if you don't like your answers, change them.
I don't know whose quote this is, but it's powerful.
Don't sit high and mighty with God's children who are already saved and forget to walk humbly with God's children, whose hearts are broken and in desperate need of remembrance of His love for them. That they still matter. That God still cares.
Go and love on someone. Be a Light in the darkness.

Pride.
You can't teach those who already think they know it all.
Last time I checked, the only all-knowing one was the Lord God Almighty but you'd swear some Christians were God in the flesh, the way they profess to live a perfect life, and abide by all God's commandments at all times. No, just stop it. You don't follow His commandments to a T. No one does. We can't. If we could, then what is the point of the Cross? Tell me? Why did Jesus come to die for us, if by our own efforts we could keep to His word and earn our way to Heaven?
He didn't. He died for us on that cross because He knew we needed help to live His way, He came to be an example and then He left us with the Holy Spirit to guide us. It is only through Him we have any chance at all at Heaven. Christians, please stop being self-righteous. That will not touch souls for Christ. Being genuine and sincere in the fact that we are just as broken and messed up as the rest of the world, and that the only difference is we know we have a Savior of our soul; That is what will touch hearts for God. Transparency. Don't be fake. God already knows who we are so why pretend? I don't know all the answers but I know the one who holds all the answers, and His name in JESUS! From no other person will I receive discipline in His word but Jesus.
I for one, will never lie to myself nor to God and make promises that I cannot keep to Him. I strive daily to walk the path of Righteousness with all my might. I pray for His revelations when reading His word. But by no means do I know it all or know anything for that matter. I will forever be a babe in Christ, meaning like that of a child, I am a sponge to His wisdom, forever teachable by Him, not man.
"Boast no more all ye who are proud, Do not let arrogance come out of your mouth; For the Lord is a God of knowledge, And with Him actions are weighed." - 1 Samuel 2:3
With HIM, our actions are weighed, not with man. 💕 Remember that without Christ we are nothing. Show love, compassion and understanding to others, especially as Christians, don't be standoffish. It is not a good look for us. And it can push away those who genuinely want to know Jesus.
"But those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." - Matthew 23:12
Be Blessed.

I am His.
Yes. I have tattoos.
Yes. I have piercings.
Yes. I can still serve God and bring others to Jesus.
God is not concerned with our appearance, He is concerned with our intentions.
My intention; is to spread the Good news of the Gospel and the message of The Cross and what Jesus did for us. I glorify Him in all that I do. Even when getting tattooed. And who knows, maybe this tattooed unorthodox Christian walking up to someone lost and broken, to tell them of Jesus, will be better received by them than the proud or haughty Christian that thinks they are above them.
“For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
- Galatians 2:19-21 KJV
“What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn’t work. So I quit being a “law man” so that I could be God’s man. Christ’s life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that. Is it not clear to you that to go back to that old rule-keeping, peer-pleasing religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God? I refuse to do that, to repudiate God’s grace. If a living relationship with God could come by rule-keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily.”
- Galatians 2:19-21 MSG
I don't do religion. I do relationship.
The Pharisees were religious. Jesus was all about the people.
Jesus is Who I model my life after.
We have done nothing to earn God's love. Nor can we do anything to lose it. We do not get to Heaven by our efforts. We cannot earn grace. It is a gift from a loving Father. I walk in the Freedom of what Jesus did for us 2000 years ago. I refuse to let His death be in vain. You should also. Who the Son sets free, is free indeed. Be blessed.

Withdraw
I don't know if you have all heard this song by Jimmy Needham before but it's one of my favorites. It reminds me to always take that quiet time with God. Of How necessary it is to be away with God; in personal communion with Him. It is good to fellowship, as Christians we need each other to be accountable for one another. But there is a verse in Luke, 5:16, I believe; but it talks about how Jesus withdrew from everything to a quiet place where just He and God could be. Seeking out God's still small voice in the silence, without distraction.
It is so spiritually healthy to set aside time where you are just 'still' with God. Relationship matters more to God than just words or begrudging praise that's only done out of obligation or religious motions. He cares about what is in your heart, He cares about how you feel. He loves you and just wants for you to feel loved and complete in Him. It's not complicated. He is your Father. Pray about this and see if you need to get away from it all, to fast, to pray..... these things lead to God's peace. They bring us closer to His spirit and heal the soul from the wounds we have acquired throughout life.
Let Him heal your heart and soul.
Let Him guide you.
Let Him love you.
Be blessed.

Idolatry
We were programmed to worship God. Literally within our genetic makeup lies a longing to worship.
This is why, when Praise for Him is not continually on our lips, we will always feel the desire to create idols. Just as they did in Exodus, when Moses went up to Mount Sinai to get the commandments after the Israelites had been rescued from Egypt. They felt an extreme desire to thank someone, or even something for saving them. So they built the golden calf, and began worshipping it for what God had done. The Word says "even if we don't praise Him, the rocks will cry out." Idolatry happens when we let our praise become idle. And when we don't recall to our mind, without ceasing, who our blessings come from.
Glorify the Lord and worship Him in all things! He is a jealous God (Exodus 34:14) but He is a good God! (Psalm 100:5)
- Just a sweet reminder to go along with the bible verse I posted last night.
"Little Children, Keep yourselves from idols, Amen." 1 John 5:21

"Don't Be Deceived"
We all know the Truth because we read God's Word and it is true. The Spirit confirms it is true. So why are we sometimes deceived? Why do we have a tendency to believe the lie even though we know without a shadow of a doubt that the opposite is true?
Why? Because of our Flesh.
We are encased in it. Our soul is willing but sometimes our flesh is too weak. We are susceptible to lies because this was our mistake at the beginning of our days with Adam and Eve, we chose to believe that lie from Satan. My tattoo artist the other day was explaining to me that "It's not sin itself we battle with, it's our tendency to believe a lie." - Christopher Perrin; so we have to reverse this character flaw in ourselves. The only way that is done is through strengthening of the spirit and a renewal of our mind. We should continually feed and nourish our spirits so that we can walk in that rather than our flesh.
I went through this very thing last night and many of you came to my side which is beautiful. I needed the encouragement, love and support to help me continue walking by Faith. None of us are without this flaw from the times of Adam and Eve, but by developing a stronger relationship with The Holy Spirit, He will begin to develop in us a new character in Jesus. And we will eventually, believe the enemies lies less and less until he is a faint voice that dwindles to almost nothing in the background of God's almighty Truth.
See; the devil wishes he had the power to create but he doesn't. He cannot create anything. He can only distort. He is limited to trickery, hoping to fool us. But he has no real power. Just smoke and mirrors, all huff and puff but can't blow our house down. Not if we build our house on a sturdy foundation; strong in His word. Not if we let the spirit dwell within our home (our soul); and allow God to work in and throughout our mind, renewing it. The enemy has no power, only the perversion of God's truth.
He is a LIAR!
I am proclaiming today that what the enemy attempted to do to me yesterday to throw me off God's plan for my life, that God will take that and use it to further His plan even more! He is faithful. He is the Truth! He has the final say in my destiny and so long as I don't get in my own way and keep denying the lie, He will take me places that I could never even fathom.
So if you are going through the same thing I was last night, be encouraged just as I am this morning! Don't let the deception of the enemy keep you from God's best.
We know the Truth. We know from where our help comes! We just have to walk in that Truth. Be blessed.

I am not sure what is going on but just to be clear everything I write on here is my work, God's words given to me as a blessing and I write them down, time stamp them on my personal blog then share them on here. I have had a few people now tell me they have read my exact words from someone else. Well please do show me these sources so that I can sue them, because I don't steal other writers works. I would never do something like that. I don't have the money to copyright everything so only some writings are copyrighted but it's a bit frustrating to me to have people lie and say they've seen or heard it elsewhere. I could see a "similar message or different interpretation of God's word" but "my exact words?" No. Absolutely not. So I just wanted to clarify that. I may have to pause on sharing these words God gives me if that happens too much more. I can't have that. I may have to wait until I have money to copyright everything. I don't know. I am going to pray about this. It really bothers my heart. I can't take credit for the words because they belong to God. Through the Holy Spirit I receive them but at the same time, my trials that I have walked through, struggles I have been in, they inspire my words also. So it's so personal when someone lies like that. It's like what? These words that come from my pain and from God, you want to claim them? That is so wrong. Like I said, I am going to pray about it but wanted you all to know I'd never in my life steal the work of others. We are all called to do great things for Jesus. That is all I am trying to do by sharing my words. But I just don't know how to feel right now. Really bothered by this. 😔 Sigh.....

He Will Bring You Through It
His Grace.
I talk about it a lot. It's in 90 percent of my messages because I want people to understand we don't have to carry the burdens of life on our own. In fact, we don't have to carry them at all. We have a Father in Heaven who is loving enough to provide us with His grace, and grace is what helps us endure the most painful things in life. I never, in a million years, would have thought I could lose my mother and still be even breathing, let alone stronger because of it. I do not know why God takes us each through specific storms but they serve a purpose. They tie into God's plan for our lives somehow. He doesn't take us through something without teaching us something. Had I not lost my Mommy, maybe I would not have learned to appreciate family so much and maybe I wouldn't truly comprehend that life is a blessing and should be cherished daily. There is a reason for your trial. Your tears do not go wasted with God. And pain is not wasted. Pain opens us up. It softens our heart. The heart of man is often hardened by pride, ego, etc.; so many layers of things that God has to get past in order to reach us. Pain causes humility, and in that humble state, God is then able to work in us and transform us into who He intended for us to be. He is a good father! A just father. You are NOT alone in your tears. He is right there beside you. Talk to Him when you cry. He hears you. I promise.
And remember this: God won't always bring you out of your trial, but He will always bring you THROUGH it. God bless you.

We are just like the stars, we never stop shining. Keep that light on for Jesus. Keep loving God and know that He loves you just as much. You are His son, His daughter. It's not any more complicated than that. He just wants to know all about you and for you to desire to know Him. And trust me no matter what may have died in your life, or be dying, He is the giver of Life and the conquerer of death, and He can restore and reignite in you everything that you have lost. So if you are in your dark season right now, Be the Light until you see the Light! He is still with you!!!!!

A Love Worth The Wait
It can be hard sometimes waiting for the Love of your life. You see others together, and you long for that same treasured relationship with someone who knows you inside and out and accepts you for who you are. You long for someone to do life with. The companionship more than anything physical; you long for a soul connection to another human being that you feel was placed upon this earth for you. God designed us this way, we are not meant to be alone. But here is the thing; God doesn't just want you to have any relationship. He wants you to have a God centered one. One that has Him at the forefront. So we have to patient and wait on Him to guide us to our soul mate. He will. And when He does it will have been worth the wait.
Once you're with someone you love and that love is reciprocated, you won't even recall the days, months or even years it took for God to bring the two of you together. You'll cherish and treasure the relationship even more because it won't be one built haphazardly out of impulse or forced into just to settle, but one built on the sturdy foundation that is God.
Be still. He knows what He is doing.

This Life is Not All There Is.
I'm here at the dialysis clinic with my father.
Clinics or hospitals of any kind sort of make me sad. They are reminders of temporal illness and the curse of mankind. The smell inside is something comparative to the loss of hope. I look around see so many sick people and it hurts my heart. I know this place is keeping them all alive (my daddy included) as well as Jesus that keeps them alive, but I sometimes need to take a walk in the sunshine and fresh air when it gets to be a bit too much.
As my father lies in this chair 3 and 1/2 hours a day, 3 days a week; it gives me a lot of time to just reflect. As I am walking around in the vicinity of the clinic, I look up to the sky and just draw my strength from God to know that this isn't it. That this earth and the ailments of our earthly bodies are only temporary. God is my hope and the things He has promised us in the life to come with Him, makes everything in this life sort of pale in comparison. So although my heart hurts momentarily to see these people in the condition they are in, as well as my father; the knowledge alone of God's goodness takes the bulk of that pain away and it's replaces with His grace, His love, He reminds me that He is still in control. He still has these people who suffer in the palms of His hands and He still cares for them. He hasn't forsaken us. I know He will wipe away every tear from our eyes, and there will be No more pain when we go to His kingdom and that gives me hope again.
There is a reason for each of our struggles in life. They will be revealed to us if not in this life, surely in the next. Until then, I pray He carry us in His truths and promises. And when we feel like giving up, that He comes with His spirit in those moments to give us the strength we need to endure.

Speak Life
Speak Life into your circumstances!
Sometimes we stay in a bad situation much longer than we would have, had we just adjusted the way we in which we spoke while in it. God tells us "there is Life and Death in the power of the tongue." It's okay to 'think' something negative on occasion, that's only natural, but don't give birth to that thought in your life by saying it aloud! Don't speak death over your circumstances especially if they are already bad. If you are thinking "I'm so tired" Say instead, "I'm so energized!" If you are thinking, "I can't deal with this" Say instead, "I can handle anything!" You must SPEAK LIFE. Not only into yourself, and your circumstances, but into others as well! We are our words. Choose them wisely. What are you saying when you first start your day, and throughout it? Are you feeding the negative or the positive? Are you building or tearing down?
"Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." - Proverbs 21:23
"Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips." - Psalms 141:3

Grief
"Grieving"
Grieving never really stops does it? We go through each day like waves, high tides when we are happy, riding along with the ocean wind, where it seems like no one's even missing, like we'd never even been through that tragic storm that sent our world into chaos, then there are the low tides that pull us back out to sea, where we remember vividly every detail of the one we've lost, and the pain floods our souls as we struggle to tread water. And when these waves come they hit so hard. You may even appear crazy to an onlooker, smiling one second, crying the next. But I suppose it's only natural. Grieving is just carrying the pain from one moment to another the best you can.... one minute could vary from the next in how heavy that pain is. But no one can tell me how much time heals, how one day, it gets easier. No. You just get better at coping with the pain, the pain you know will never fade until you are reunited with the one you Love in Heaven. Until then, may Jesus carry us when we cant carry ourselves. Rely on His grace. - Brianna Carey ©
I wanted to share this excerpt I wrote a bit ago, this morning because during this time of year, I know a lot of us have lost relatives, loved ones, etc. and the holidays can be so hard. It's going on 4 years for me, come this February, since I lost my Mommy, and these seem to be the hardest times of year for me. Some days harder than others. But I wanted everyone who may be feeling the same way to just remember you aren't alone. You have Jesus to lean on and pour your heart out to, and we know in our weakness He is made strong so if you need to cry darling, just cry. Then draw strength from God's grace to be able to face the next day. You can and will get better at coping with the pain. You will see them in Heaven again and you God will wipe away Every tear. There will be no more pain, no more sadness. Hold onto that hope, and remember there is no right or wrong way to grieve. Just make sure you don't stay too long in sadness because the one whom you lost would not want that for you. Stay strong and God bless you through the harder days. I pray He give you that peace that surpasses understanding when you need it most as He has done for me. Sending so much love to you.

Call me crazy, but I am not concerned one bit about who is President of our country, nor am I concerned about ISIS or any other 'threat to mankind' and I put quotations around it because I don't really consider them a threat. They have no supernatural power whatsoever. God is STILL God. Nothing that they do in this life can have any effect on the hereafter. I consider them an empty wagon. Sure, they make a lot of noise but they don't scare me. They have no power, they work for the devil and the devil has no power. He can't create, he can only distort and that makes him so mad. But it's just smoke and mirrors. Nothing more. I am not worried. My faith doesn't lie in the devil's distortions, nor does it lie in the President, or any other manly figure in this life. My faith lies in Christ. It is God determines my economy, my future, my life and the eternal state of my soul. Paul said it best when he said "To live is Christ and to die is gain." Whether we live (in good or bad circumstances) or whether we die, it is still all about Jesus, not us. This temporary life is insignificant compared to what God has in store for us after. Don't be afraid of anything. I have read the story of mankind in Revelations and I'll let you in on a little secret..... GOD WINS.
Pursue Your Calling
Have you ever felt something nagging at you deep down in your soul; like a fire that can't be put out? That is your calling. Don't let fear ever prevent you from pursuing it. God has placed that fire and passion within you for a reason! You are His vessel, His masterpiece; and He wants to use you for great things. If you face adversity in the pursuit of your calling, consider yourself blessed because it means that the enemy has taken notice and is worried of the souls you will impact for God's glory. He would rather you just bury your gifts deep inside and never let them see the light of day. But please let them Shine! Keep Creating for God! He loves to see His children doing what He knows they love to do.

Amazing.
I slip. I fall. I stumble.
Yet continually, I am humbled
by Your forgiveness
Strengthened by Your sufficient Grace
You take my pain and in its' place
You give me Peace
You never cease to amaze me Lord.

You are Loved
There is no right or wrong way to serve God. We are all on different parts of our journey and walk with Him. The place I am in may not be where you are and vice versa. That is completely okay. God works on each of our hearts in different ways, and as we grow in Faith, He matures us. We are constantly learning and growing. Don't judge someone for not walking their Christian path the same way as you. People seem to think that there is some sort of religious requirement you have to meet. That you have to look some sort of part. That is not the case. What matters to God is your relationship with Him. He appreciates an honest heart. He already knows the sins with which we struggle, and He already knows our weaknesses, so there is no need in hiding them. He embraces us despite our flaws. That is the beauty of His mercy. So how you choose to honor God is between you and God, not the rest of the world. Sing your song to Him however you'd like to sing it, play your drum however you'd want to play it. Basically; I am trying to convey: He loves our worship and praise for Him no matter how it's given. God is in love with us because we are His children and He enjoys walking with us even when the road is rocky. He loves that we are doing our best to walk the path of righteousness however disheveled or broken that path way be at the time. It is our path. We are on it. So stay on it, keep your head up and keep fighting to be the best you that you can be for Christ. You are so Loved.

Don't Glorify Your Problems.
We multiply what we choose to glorify in our lives.
If we are only ever focusing on what is wrong then those things will always appear to increase. Focus on the good instead and if you absolutely can't see any good around you at all, then focus on the fact that God alone is good. Stay strong, have faith that whatever you are going through God will use it all for your good in the end.

Stay strong, have faith that whatever you are going through God will use it all for your good in the end.
I feel like this quote may bless others the same way it blessed my life the first time I read it. We can sometimes focus so immensely on all the bad taking place around us and in our lives, that we can't even see the good. It gets lost entirely in all the chaos that life can sometimes throw our way. It reminds me of Peter when He stepped out of the boat (Matthew 14) onto the tumultuous waters, and at first His focus was on Christ and he was fine but then He turned His attention rather to the storm around him and that is when he started to drown. Don't let the issues taking place in your life overshadow Christ. His love, His power, His grace are all still more powerful than your trial could ever be. Focus on Him and although your surroundings may indeed not change; the way you view them will. Make God the center of your attention.

Forgive.
Remember that we are all works in progress. Forgive one another for your faults. You can't expect perfection from imperfect humans. Try to remember where you've been also, we all have some dirt on our hands.
God Reads the Heart
Being a Christian does not mean we never make mistakes. Somewhere along the way on our walk with God, we are going to mess up. That is an inevitability. We are all descendants of Adam and Eve and so in our genetic makeup lies 'The Rebellion.' God already understands that. He is not expecting perfection out of His children, just as any earthly father wouldn't expect it of his. God reads the heart. When you sin, are you remorseful? Did you confess? Are you trying your best to walk the path of righteousness? If you answered yes to those then that means that in your heart, you strive to do good. Your desires and intentions are to do the will of God. It means your spirit is willing. It is always going to be a battle with the flesh. But although the devil would like for you to believe that once you sin, you should wallow in guilt, be ashamed, and hang your head down in disappointment that you failed at being a Christian, that is NOT the actual response you should have to sinning. This is:
Confess. Forgive yourself. Move forward.
The power of confession takes away the power of the enemy. He knows that. Because once you have confessed your sins to God, they are forgiven. Period. And not only are they forgiven but they are wiped away entirely. The Word of God says "Love keeps no record of wrongs..." Trust me, Jesus is not up in Heaven with a pen and a pad transcribing every little mistake you have made or shortcoming you have experienced. So if He is not holding onto it, why are you?
Let it go. Take a deep breath in. Today is new.... Try Again. "Confess. Forgive yourself and move forward." You are still God's child and He still loves you regardless of your wrongdoings.

Teach Me
There is no struggle that God can't turn around. Be patient in your trial. Ask Him, what are you trying to teach me? Often times, God wants us to learn something that will be a key part of our purpose on earth. Don't miss out on the lesson because you didn't want to endure the test.
"I REALLY CAN DO ALL THINGS"
God does not make mistakes. He is a meticulous perfectionist. And you my darling, are a walking masterpiece. I don't care if you are an astrophysicist or a garbage man, you are fearfully, wonderfully and masterfully created. You can and will do all things. We have all heard this verse.... "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me." But there is something superbly profound when you allow those words to truly take root in your soul and when you wholeheartedly accept that you really can do ALL things. You begin to let go of inhibition and doubt and instead you walk boldly into the unknown with a new found confidence that you can and will conquer it.

By Faith & Grace
When you have Faith in God, it changes the way you handle extenuating circumstances. People observing your life from the outside may say, 'wow.... how does she/he do it? Go through so much pain, so many struggles, walk through so many trials, endure so much adversity and still have a beautiful smile on their face and continue to be grateful. When anyone would understand if they fell apart and yet, somehow she/he is keeping it together.'
How do they do it? Grace.
"His grace is sufficient." 2 Corinthians 12:9
It is not because we are super strong, and have hearts made of gold that cannot be broken. It's because His grace carries us. Day to day, minute by minute, it breathes for us when we feel we are drowning in our circumstances. It walks for us when we can barely stand. Jesus is our Rock through it all.
Faith in Him gives us hope for the future, to see loved ones passed on before us. And His grace gives us the ability to cope with circumstances that would otherwise break our spirit. The two of them combined provides us a reason to live, to not only just survive our trials, but thrive in them and come out of them stronger, happier, and wiser.
So if you are in your extenuating circumstance right now wondering if you'll ever be able to make it, remember two things: One; you are not trying to make it alone, rely on His grace. And Two; Have faith that God has a plan and a purpose for everything in your life, and it will one day work together for your good.
His word is True. He will never leave you. Nor forsake you. Be blessed.

A Forever Love
That kind of love that makes your heart flutter
and your knees shutter as you think of the other
The kind of love you could color the world with.
Pure bliss.
Bright blues and vibrant greens
A scene out of a fairytale it seems
The Dream.
Like a dove that alights on your soul
Makes you whole and sows your heart back together.
A Forever Love.
Ocean & Sand
The force of the ocean waves
is stopped by mere sand
So understand that your struggle in which you stand
can be overcome as well
No one gets to Heaven, not having survived a bit of hell.

Charitable Heart Quote
Keep a charitable heart and a humble soul....
For in those lies the solution to everything.
For in those lies the solution to everything.
Despite
I love your heart.
It keeps beating.... despite everything you have been through.
I love your soul.
It continues to shine.... despite having walked through darkness.
You inspire me.
It keeps beating.... despite everything you have been through.
I love your soul.
It continues to shine.... despite having walked through darkness.
You inspire me.

BECAUSE
I'm enjoying life.
Not because it's all good. Not because nothing bad ever happens to me. Not because the world is perfect. Not because any great thing in particular has happened to me. I am enjoying life because life itself is a blessing. Life is beautiful. The planet is beautiful. People are still beautiful. I still believe in humanity. And I still choose Love and Forgiveness in every situation I face because it is always the course one should take. I am enjoying life simply because it can be enjoyed. Count your blessings. Cry when you need to. Then smile again. Go easy on yourself because no one has it all together and allow yourself to experience the ups and downs of life without holding onto them because the present is fleeting. It will change from one moment to the next. Let it. Embrace flux. Don't let these negative things on your TV take hold in your heart because they will grow into fear. And fear steals your joy. Live. Because you can. Because your alive. Because your heart is still beating and your soul can still feel.

My View on Syrian Refugees
"You have heard the law that says the punishment must match the injury: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. If you are sued in court and your shirt is taken from you, give your coat, too. If a soldier demands that you carry his gear for a mile, carry it two miles. Give to those who ask, and don’t turn away from those who want to borrow." - Matthew 5:38-42
Jesus is never wrong. He didn't do a lot of clear speeches, He mostly spoke in riddles throughout the Bible but with the Sermon on the Mount, He meant for us to understand Him clearly. And that last bit. "Don't turn away those who want to borrow." I can't help but feel like that's exactly what we are doing by denying Syrians refuge here in the US. I know that there is no way to differentiate between who is good and has no ill intent to harm us, and who is indeed intending to harm us. But even with that uncertainty, I can't help but feel that we should still try to help them. I have seen people posting about how poor America already is, or how we have so many homeless, etc. but let's be honest, America is in far better condition financially than all third world countries put together. We have more than enough. I'm not saying that it's not a problem that we have homeless U.S. citizens and have not helped them. By all means, we should address that issue and try to form a solution. But also we must find a way to help the Syrian people in need as well and any other country that lacks in an area where we have an abundance. I look at it like this, if a young child knocked on your door in the middle of the night, you are alone in your home, he looks fragile, cold, hungry, in need.... do you let him in? You don't know if it could be a facade, there could be someone just out of sight who wants to take your life once you open that door, but do you open it? That is the question we face here and I don't know about anyone else's answer is but it's evident what God's answer to that is. YES. You open the door. "Don't turn away those who want to borrow." There has to be a point where just your faith in humanity has to be enough. You may witness some fallout from allowing someone you don't fully trust into your home but you may also witness the gratitude in someones eyes as tears stream down their face, thinking 'thank God someone still cared enough about me to help.' I think it's worth the risk to do the right thing. For the greater good. Once we lose our faith & hope in humanity entirely, there is no turning back. Yes, I believe there is evil. But I believe wholeheartedly that that same evil will inevitably be extinguished by GOOD. It always is. See; God 'Commands' us to love. It not a request, it's a command. That means we don't have a say in the matter. It's not only an obligation but should be something we do from the fruit of our souls because we desire to. Furthermore, if we do nothing at all to try and help them, and then we tune into our TV sets, in our warm home, on our comfy couch, and watch hundreds of thousands of innocent Syrians being slaughtered; we cannot then say their blood is not on our hands. We cannot say it wasn't by our lack of compassion and faith in mankind, that they died. I don't want to lose hope in humanity. I believe most of us are good.... and those who are not will be dealt with either in, or after this life, by God. So I have no qualms about us taking in Syrian refugees or any other refugees for that matter. And should it result in attacks on lives here in the US; I say this..... I'd rather die for doing good than live doing nothing to stop the bad. - Brianna Colleen Carey

Drifting
During times like these
It's so apparent to me that you're no longer here
It's clear I can't hear the sound of your loving voice
No matter how hard I try to recall
A deafening silence echoes within these walls
It's a painful reminder of your absence
upon which a deep sadness envelopes my soul
I have not been whole since you died
I've tried my best to cope
Although.....
Most days I feel like I'm drifting
Like a breeze that swiftly
blows across the ocean waves...
Present for a moment but soon fades
I don't know how to be okay without you
I didn't think I would have to this soon
But here I am
Here I stand, with only half of me
Trying to create some remnant of a happily ever after
But with a heart this shattered
I just don't know how.....
It's so apparent to me that you're no longer here
It's clear I can't hear the sound of your loving voice
No matter how hard I try to recall
A deafening silence echoes within these walls
It's a painful reminder of your absence
upon which a deep sadness envelopes my soul
I have not been whole since you died
I've tried my best to cope

But here I am
Here I stand, with only half of me

But with a heart this shattered
I just don't know how.....
One Day
I know that things look grim.
I see the broken-hearted.
I feel their pain.
I see the dying.
I hear the crying of those they left behind and,
I see the hurting,
I hear them calling out....
They feel deserted.
But they aren't.....
there's still a spark.
Still a glimmer of hope left in their eyes.
May that hope be magnified by Elohim
And dispense within, the hate
Let love resonate with their souls
And make the incomplete whole again
I know one day it will end
But until then.... Carry us
in Your unfailing Love
until that One Day comes.
I see the broken-hearted.
I feel their pain.
I see the dying.
I hear the crying of those they left behind and,
I see the hurting,
I hear them calling out....

Red Cups?
Enough with the Starbucks red cups. I don't care two cents about a cup. Neither should any of you. What is wrong with America? Honestly, it's no wonder other countries want to take us out. These are first world problems????? Meanwhile there are third world countries somehow STILL without clean water in a world that collectively has billions of dollars that could do something about that REAL WORLD PROBLEM. Get over yourself. I don't even drink Starbucks. And they have NEVER been associated with Jesus Christ and I highly doubt he even takes notice. And for that matter although we celebrate Christ's birth on the 25th of December, he more than likely was born in March sometime. Christmas is not about a cup. It's remembrance of someone who devoted the better part of His life to healing the sick, helping the needy, and loving the world. The national news waves some red cups in your face, then tells you (24 hours a day) that it's a big deal and suddenly you are too distracted to care about the things that matter. ISIS is still beheading Christians all over the place. There are still children in slavery and sex trafficking. There are still endangered animals being gunned down in a cage for decoration. Still people dying of starvation everywhere. These are things that matter. Not a damn cup. (Excuse my language) but honestly. What on earth would compel you to care that much about a coffee cup from a company who does little to nothing charity wise, unless it involves a PR opportunity, to change the world for the better, and a company that isn't even remotely Christ-like. What kind of Christian would even bat an eyelash about something as trivial as a cup of coffee? This is why I say "Don't look for confirmation of Christ's character in Christians. You won't find it there. We are just people. But God is God. If you want to know Him, invite Him into a relationship with you. Ask Him who He is. And He will reveal His character to you." Go do something that matters with your life. Be the change. Help those who need it most. Stop caring about things that don't matter at all or dwelling on the negative of life. And that's my two cents. Thanks.

Don't Judge Christ by Christians

Colossians 3:12-15
This is the standard set by God to which man is supposed to live by but we are never consistent. But God, God is unchanging. He is the same forever, yesterday, today, and always. And unlike man, He will never let you down.

Still Small Voice.
As I lay here in the quiet
A still small voice cries out from the silence
"That pain I see there.....
Why do you hide it?"
Amidst this darkness to which I am bound
How?
How did you see?
I dressed it up so beautifully
I don't understand
"In the palm of My Hand, I hold your heart....
and its scars are quite apparent to me.
It's evident to see how much you hold....
Deep within your soul
where not many will venture to find it
You smile but behind it,
there are tears that won't seem to dry....
Do you deny this?"
I hesitate, in the silence....
only to reply with.... "No.
I cannot deny the current state of my soul
But where have You been?
If You could see all of this happening, why not step in?
He replies, to my surprise....
"For it is only through suffering
that Grace is revealed....
and through that revelation, the soul itself healed."

Beautiful Soul
I accept every part of who you are
Embrace every scar on your beautiful soul
May I hold your heart
if I promise not to break it?
And could you make it a point to do the same?
I'll shelter your heart as if it were my own
I know my home lies within your soul
Exposed and yet I feel no shame in your eyes
For your light covers my flaws
I am in awe of all of all that you are
If I may walk but only a day in your arms
it would be enough
If I might know the embrace of your love
for even a moment
I know that.... I'll have experienced Heaven
A blessing that many will never know.

For a brief moment in time
you were mine and I was yours
but of course all good things come to an end
Although I cannot pretend it doesn't hurt
To see it work with someone else
when all the love in the world didn't help
you and I stay together
I guess forever doesn't exist outside of fairytales
I suppose it wasn't meant to be
Even Doves have to fly eventually....

I don't mind if no one hears my heart. I care about humanity. I care about souls, I want people to spend eternity in Heaven. So I'm going to keep posting about Jesus. I am going to keep posting scriptures. Because this is not a joke. It's not some fad. It's the ONLY constant in my life. GOD. That's it. All other things fail in comparison. I don't always get life right and that's okay, that's why He died. But I try. Not because I want to impress the world, but because I don't want to disappoint my Father. It actually gives me an ill feeling inside when I know I have done something He would disapprove of. That's the beautiful thing about His grace though, if we just admit our short comings to Him, we are forgiven. It's not that we will never make another mistake, that's a given because we are broken. The world is broken, we don't live in Eden anymore, so living by His commandments perfectly is impossible. But God reads the heart. When we do something wrong, do we feel remorse? Does it bother us deep down? Or are we someone who sins with blatant disregard to how it makes God feel, or the fact that it is wrong? Which person are you? Do you continue in sin without regard or do you care? Do you aim to do better? That is all God asks of us.... not perfection. I can't stop sharing God's word and praying for souls to come to Him because I know how obliterated my soul was before I came to know Him. How there was such an empty space that nothing would fill, I remember how I felt when I literally felt the hand of God on me and began to speak from my lips, not of my own control, words that no man could interpret. That is the encounter I had with Jesus. He changed me for the better. He healed and is continuing to heal the deepest wounds I have not only inflicted upon myself but the afflictions others have caused my soul. I did not change myself, this isn't some false ego. I didn't change my own character. I had such anger inside me before He replaced it with forgiveness. I had a proud and haughty, know it all heart and He broke me to a place of humility and gave me compassion for others. These things He has done only scratch the surface of how He has transformed my being. And these changes did not happen overnight. I got saved a long time ago and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior but it was not until years later that I actually formed a relationship with Him, and I was finally able to have this relationship by learning what it means to live a life fully surrendered. I do not have to depend on myself alone. I do not have to carry the burdens of my transgressions anymore, I don't have to live under a cloud of guilt and shame or live in condemnation because there is NONE when you live in Christ. IN. I didn't understand why that verse said IN instead of WITH Christ until I recognized the power of surrender. I am not just walking with God, but IN Him. All that I do is no longer a reflection of my own character but His also. And in knowing that, I recognize that what I do holds a greater importance than just that of my own consequences. I'm not just living for me anymore. It's an amazing thing. It's beautiful. And I want others to receive the freedom that comes with repentance and surrender. I don't have to know all the answers, I just have to Know the God who has them. I am sure I will still make mistakes in the future because I am imperfect. But when God formed my soul, He formed perfection. The flesh it is temporarily homed in is unfortunately not. But at the root of my being is Light. Love. Kindness. Compassion. All things that God is made up of. He formed all of us in His image and His image is perfection. That image, despite our brokenness, is not distorted in God's eyes, He still sees us as His perfect masterpiece. I just want you to know that. Whether or not you like what I am saying is of no consequence to me. But I pray with everything that I am, that you hear me when I say you are a child of God and all He wants is your heart and soul. Not perfection, just your love. He stands and knocks at the heart of every man/ woman and whoever opens the door, He will enter in and He will dwell there. He LOVES you, right where you are, you don't have to change to come to Him, you come to Him and He'll change you. You'll find that you'll have to 'TRY' to do what's right less, and less, because as the walls you've built up with the struggles of life begin to break down, the person He created you to be is revealed, and your desire to do what is right will surpass the desire to impress the world. You won't have to pretend to be strong anymore or be reliant solely upon yourself but instead the heavy weight you carry will be replaced with an easy yolk.... the Grace of God. And that transformation leads to an eternal life of peace, and everlasting joy. If we stay on a prideful path, it leads only to destruction and death. CHOOSE LIFE. God gives us free will because He doesn't want our forced admiration, He wants us to choose to Love Him because of who He is. If you have tried everything under the sun to feel complete and not lacking and you still feel as though you are missing something, then why not try Jesus. I'm not talking about going to a church building on a Saturday or Sunday, and putting on a facade of religious appearance and terminology to boast yourself better than any other human being. No. I'm talking about having a true relationship with the Living God who has the ability to transform every aspect of your life for the better. I'm talking about a Water that will quench that which your soul has thirsted for since birth. A loving two way relationship with Jesus, The Father. Where you can literally feel Him working in your heart. If you will only try Him, you'll begin to see yourself wanting to keep His commandments not because you have to or by some religious sense of obligation, but because you want to, because you Love Him. I love you all and I hope that you have read this and somehow my words have struck a cord with you, with even just one person. The difference between the world and God, is the world will take everything from you until there is nothing left, God only wants to Give of Himself to you, take upon Himself your burdens, and spend not only this life but the one that follows in your company, simply because you mean that much to Him. Not because you did anything right but because you are His child and He loves you. Won't you open your heart today, and make the decision to let Him in?
