I accept every part of who you are 

Embrace every scar on your beautiful soul

Exposed and yet I feel no shame in your eyes

For your light covers my flaws 

I am in awe of all of all that you are

A blessing that many will never know. 

For a brief moment in time

but of course all good things come to an end 

Although I cannot pretend it doesn't hurt

To see it work with someone else 

when all the love in the world didn't help 

you and I stay together

I guess forever doesn't exist outside of fairytales 

I suppose it wasn't meant to be
