I'm never surprised when I'm deleted by a "friend" for speaking the Truth. Especially in a candy coated world where just anything goes nowadays. 

"And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. - Romans‬ ‭12‬:‭2‬

It's really beautiful when your mind is renewed and you don't live for yourself anymore or what makes you feel good, but when you live with a passion to please God. A desire to not hurt Him by disobeying His law no matter how you feel about it. 

We are all accountable for our sins, we either repent and turn from them or we answer for them on judgment day. It's our choice. God gives each man the same choice. I've made mine. I can't make others make theirs. I can only love every person despite their sins and tell them The Truth is in God's Word when they are ready to hear it, it will be there. God is a Loving God, but there are things that He hates, MANY things. 

We as Christians are supposed to be a reflection of God, and not engage in the things that upset God, and if we do slip, we are required to repent, if we do not repent and we choose to continue to live in sin then we are no different from the world? We are supposed to look and act differently than the world. We are supposed to apply God's word to our lives. 

It comes down to this.... God's word is either all Truth or it's all Fake, there is no gray area, there is no "well this part is true but I'm not so sure this part is" you either believe it all or you don't, and if you don't believe it then you've called God a liar.... 

Just think on that a moment. 

God is perfect. He cannot lie. He's laid it all out for us, the right way to live. It isn't easy and it demands sacrifice of oneself, discipline of the flesh, and it requires one to take into consideration not just their own desires but what God desires of them. 

What does God desire of us? What is His will for us? To do that which is right, good, pleasing and perfect to Him. According to His law, not the law of man. I don't know about anyone else but me personally, I don't want to let God down. If I ever fall, I repent, pray for forgiveness, then I draw close to God and I, by His grace and Spirit, learn to do better. But if you live a lie and pretend you are not engaging in something that God considers wrong then you will have to answer to God for that. 

Yes, God is LOVE. But Love is not the only word used to describe Him in the bible. According to His word, He is also Jealous, "A consuming fire..." He is Just, "He does not leave the guilty unpunished". He is Judge, "He puts down one and exalts another." These quotations are Scripture. The Bible also speaks of God's Wrath, Vengeance, Hatred, (yes Hatred) and the list goes on. 

But to those who Repent; He is Salvation, Savior, Redeemer, a Refuge, Gracious, Righteous, Full of Compassion and Merciful but: 

"Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life." - Galatians 6:7-8 

His words. Not mine. If you forsake God, and His ways, He will forsake you. We don't get to do whatever we please in this life and get away with it all in the next. It just does not work that way. 

But it is His will that no man perish, this is why He has yet to return. 

You have today, you have this moment right now, in a world that glorifies living to please man and self, you have opportunity to forsake your ways and the way of the world and choose to Live for God. What will you decide? Ultimately, the choice is ours where we spend eternity. 

God gives man free will. But Freedom is not the ability to do what you want, it's the responsibility to do what you ought. So do what you ought to do.
