BE WHO YOU ARE. SPEAK YOUR TRUTH.

I hope I never get to the point where I'm afraid to speak my own truth for fear of losing friends. You cant lose genuine friends by being yourself. Because genuine friends dont expect you to be anything except who you are. They dont love you with the conditions that you behave or act a certain way, in order to be deemed worthy of their love or support. They dont go and block you or cancel you out for difference of opinion, religious beliefs, political views or social stances. They just let you BE.

So why be worried about offending anyone in this "take offense to everything" culture that has developed? Why be concerned about losing anyone by embracing yourself? The authentic souls who are imperfect also recognize that everyone of us is, and sees in you the beautiful that you offer the world, and they know that if you are struggling in any areas, you will improve them on your own and in your own time. They dont try and steer your wheel for you. They dont try and control your journey, they simply allow it to unfold. Because they wholeheartedly trust in God and the universe to guide you to exactly where you need to be. They genuinely want the best for you and in wanting that, they've already an environment in which you can be your best. They celebrate you in your achievements and support you in your downfalls. But you should never pretend to be someone you are not for others to like you. Eventually they find out who you are anyway and leave because it was never genuine from the start. Authenticity is always best.

That whole trying to please everyone thing, gets really old quick, and not to mention exhausting. If I dont say exactly how I truly feel, it's like someone jammed a rock in my throat. Like I'm suppressing my own Spirit. It's literally an affront to my soul. Like, I've betrayed Self. I think it's important to keep people around who allow you to walk in your own truth without judgment, so that you never have to feel as though you have to keep any parts of you hidden. That type of suppression ends badly. Everytime. So....

"BE WHO YOU ARE.
SAY WHAT YOU FEEL.
BECAUSE THOSE WHO MIND, DONT MATTER
AND THOSE WHO MATTER, DONT MIND"
- Dr. Suess

I love you.

Align

You ever had those moments in life where you feel like you are in complete alignment, and this warm embrace of contentment overwhelms your heart, and your soul is swept up in a state of serene peace?

I'm having that moment right now.

It's blissful. I am free from any worries in this moment. I feel like sometimes we talk ourselves right into problems or situations that cause us unhappiness. But we can choose to speak victory even when we are in the midst of failing. We can choose to proclaim our destiny even when nothing appears to be going in the direction we want it to. We dont have to focus on the problem, when we can just as easily put all our focus and energy into a solution.

"In mindfulness one is not only restful and happy, but alert and awake. Meditation is not evasion; it is a serene encounter with reality."
Thich Nhat Hanh

When we bring back our attention to the goodness we seek, it begins to seek us as well. That's what Rumi meant when he said 'that which you seek is seeking you.' Yes, see reality for what it is, dont evade or ignore it. Avoidance is never healthy. But also, do not attatch yourself to emotions connected to that reality. Don't view it as if it were a permanent state that you'll always remain in. Because the truth is everything is always changing. And so will your current circumstances. Everything is always in flux. Nothing is fixed.

Life is movement.

Our thoughts move, our energy moves, our emotions move. Flow with it. Dont fight against it. Just BE, and ALLOW it. Allow Love, abundance, joy, peace. Allow the universe to send your way more of the beautiful you desire. Stop standing in your own way. Embrace the creator within and shape the world you want, then walk into it. Tap into Source and accept that you hold that magic. It is a gift. You are powerful. I am powerful. We are powerful.
