Live Your Life

There are some people who will make a lot of assumptions about your life and who you are.

Let them.

Let them assume. Let them wonder. Let them guess who you are. You don't owe anyone any explanations as to how you live. The only person whose opinion of you matters is the one staring back at you, in the mirror. Do YOU like you? Yes? Awesome. Then carry on living your life and doing what makes you smile, and what makes your heart and soul feel free, and let those with an inaccurate opinion about you continue to be left puzzled by the complex masterpiece that is you.

Infactuation vs. Love

 When we are first attracted to someone, we are really attracted to ourselves. A reflection of us, that we see in them. But as that reflection fades, so does the attraction. Because it was driven by self stimulation and gratification of the ego. So the question then becomes, how does one know when they are truly in love? Unconditional love? Well, I believe it is when the need for stimulation dissipates, and it is replaced with a desire to see them in yourself, without the need to change what you see, back into your reflection in order to love and accept them. It's allowing wholeheartedly for that person to be wholly themselves, and not who you've idealized them to be in order to be deserving of your love.
