Redemption

Reaching for the words 

but of course 

they've gone missing 

I sit in the silence & I listen 

but nothing

You see my vision has clouded

I don't know who to be without it

How to act 

What to say 

I'm stumbling trying to find my way 

in this crazy place they call earth 

Lessons learned 

Through the hurt & the pain 

trying to maintain this smile 

All the while 

inside is an ongoing war 

and its taking its toll 

An armageddon within my soul 

This gaping hole of uncertainty
