Loving everyone is one thing but trying to please everyone is another thing entirely. If you love everyone, and they hurt you, that may cause you temporary pain yes, but you'll get past that. If you are trying to please everyone, you are putting yourself in a permanent state of hurt because it's impossible to do so. The only person you should be trying to please is God. Everyone and everything else is should be an afterthought.

And another thing: You "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", it does not say 'do unto others What They do unto you.' Know the difference.
