Dear God,
I know it's been a minute since we've spoken
but if you'll hear me out for a moment
I'm broken and I need you
I'm hoping you'll come to my rescue
Just one more time
I'm on my knees and I'm crying
I'm praying you'll find it
in your heart to forgive me
I haven't been me
for so long
I don't know exactly at what point it all went wrong
But I need it to be right
Somewhere along the way I lost sight
of what I needed to do
I lost sight of You
The pull of this quick sand
that is the world drew me in
Now I feel I'm drowning
and I need You to save me yet again....
